Leelah on the Wakulla River

Leelah was a friend of mine back in Tallahassee who shared my taste for trouble.  Living in a place such as Tallahassee is difficult in that you are forced to adopt a way of life that seems so un-dynamic.  Those on the fringe had to create their own ways of keeping entertained, and sometimes this resulted in swimming upstream in the antiquated Southern channels.  At the same time, when at peace, visits to Florida’s finest offerings such as the Wakulla River were part of the magic of our adventures, while they lasted.

Mina in the Trees

Mina was a very lovely girl who had an augmented sense of feelings.  She was a talented sketch artist and a dancer.  She struggled with the waking life and in her day to day dreamed of being somewhere else.  She did not know how to receive as she was only concerned with giving to others.  We lost Mina last Winter as she decided to exit this world via the Golden Gate Bridge.

Travis at UC Berkeley

Travis is a very cool dude that I went to college with at UCF in Orlando, FL.  He is a very talented musician and overall friend of the arts.  Travis is also a friend to gender bending and questions gender roles and other age old constructs.  He is a true thinker.

Jozie T at the De La Vega Grove

Jozie T is the best friend of Jozie O, who is the lovely Swedish girl that I had the privilege to get to know whilst she was studying photography in San Francisco.  Jozie O moved back to Sweden, but Jozie T remains, as she married a Rochester man who decided to go west.
